Job Description:
Human Resources develops and executes successful recruitment programs, learning and competency development initiatives, strategic staff assignments,
effective reporting and analysis, performance management processes, and work-life benefits and operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for employees in multiple countries in APAC and EU regions, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, overtime and other compensation components.
- Maintain and update employee payroll, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to verify accuracy of timesheets, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely submission of payroll data.
- Calculate and process payroll taxes, social security, benefits and also other deductions in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Moreover, Keep abreast of changes in payroll laws and tax regulations to ensure accurate payroll reporting and compliance.
- Prepare payroll reports, statements and as well as summaries for management review and audit purposes.
- Promptly and professionally respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions and also tax issues.
- Assist with year-end payroll, including tax forms and reports.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the payroll process.
- Collaborate with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of accounts related to payroll.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee data.
Qualifications: HR Associate
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- minimum 2 years of payroll experience, preferably with accounts payable experience.
- Proficiency with payroll software and systems (e.g. ADP, Paychex, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for dealing with staff, managers and external parties.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team with a collaborative attitude and ability to contribute to process improvements.
- High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
