As a Software Engineer 2 on the Lab45 team,
- you will write production quality code
- be passionate about solving complex problems and learning new modern stacks
- review code and provide feedback to ensure correctness and implementation of best practices
- Contribute to or write system design documents, user manuals, and documentation
- Triage and resolve product issues to ensure functional correctness, performance, and resiliency
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (computer science, electrical engineering, etc.) or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages writing production code
- strong understanding of data structures or algorithms
Preferred qualifications
- Understanding of product market fit, user experience, analytics, metrics and A/B testing
- Experience taking ideas from concept to launch
- Experience working with highly scalable, fault-tolerant, secure, and complaint-free architectures and systems
- Strong communication skills and a strong action orientation
Our team members are located all over the world. In this role, you will work closely with staff in the US, Europe, and India. We all operate as one team with no boundaries.
This position can be located anywhere and is primarily a remote position requiring independent work and a high level of communication and coordination with team members. The only requirement is that you be able to work within the US time zone (Pacific, Mountain, Central or Eastern) or the India time zone
