Understand business requirements in the context of BI and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models

Extensive knowledge of data design, data modeling, data management, and data visualization

Redefine and implement technical/strategic changes to improve existing business intelligence systems

Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear goals and monitor them consistently
Analyze data and present data in reports that support decision making
Running complex DAX queries and functions in Power BI

Create custom charts and custom calculations as required
SQL queries for best results, use filters and charts to better understand data
Ability to create and manage Power BI data flows, troubleshoot, understand data connections across platforms including SharePoint, MS SQL, Oracle, Azure, etc,

Configure environments, upgrades, migrations, manage users, security settings
Creating and managing workspaces, gateways, RLS, and scheduled upgrades
Troubleshoot all technical and performance issues related to data flow, upgrades, datasets and gateways

The 18-month program begins in January 2019 and will support early childhood teachers and STEM teachers in schools in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, and Derbyshire.
Teachers will have the opportunity to develop pedagogical and curricular knowledge, gain experience through research, and receive individual support from local mentors.
The mentoring program provides a blended model of in-person and online support for high-performing STEM teachers

To become effective mentors, drawing on the expertise of the Sheffield Institute of Education.
All teachers and educators will also have the opportunity to earn 30 accredited points through additional participation in the Research and Development in Education module at MA.
Each academic year, the program will add 20 elementary teachers and five to 10 guidance counselors.
