Job description:
Unisys responsibilities:
- Developer on a project or solution team of multiple developers, testers, or enterprise support staff in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- 100% hands-on development of features, unit tests, test automations, UI and backend code
- Review code, provide constructive feedback, implement review feedback, freely share knowledge, help other team members succeed and deliver all assigned tasks on time according to sprint and project plan in high quality
- Work harmoniously and closely with architects, DevOps engineers, leads, and other staff across multiple scrums to ensure full alignment of design and implementation, quality, and performance goals
- Support architects by providing PoC support, evaluating the tech stack
- Develop high quality code, self-test with UT and high coverage, document code, share knowledge, troubleshoot issues including performance and functional issues, and continuously learn and innovate.
You will be successful in this role if you have the following:
Education:
- Engineering degree or university degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
Skillsets:
- Experience developing modern microservice applications using Java Spring Boot on AWS/Azure/GCP in an agile model with full integration in DevSecOps and automated CI/CD; Domain Driven Design (DDD) is a big plus.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Angular or React
- Experience in technical implementation with the following technologies, tools or related areas:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, GraphQL, and Swagger
- Java/J2EE stack with Spring Boot and related technology stack
- Good knowledge of UI technologies such as React or Angular
- Public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, Google
- Development environments such as Visual Studio, Eclipse
- Jenkins and pipeline (CI/CD), Maven, Nexus
- Cloud-based Kubernetes platform
- API gateway such as Zuul, Apigee
- NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB)
- RDBMS and SQL (e.g. MySQL / Oracle)
- Distributed caching (e.g. REDIS)
- Centralized logging platform (e.g. ELK)
- End-to-end tracing
- App performance monitoring
- Service mesh
- GIT (e.g., Gitlab / Bitbucket / GitHub)
- Fortify, Blackduck, Sonarqube
- MQ technology (e.g., IBM MQ / Rabbit MQ)
- Kafka
- Server such as IIS
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to solve complex problems with low to medium level support
- Willingness to learn new technologies as the market evolves.
