Job Description:
Responsibilities:
-Works under general supervision and performs specific level 1 duties. Functions as a Level 1 escalation point for well-defined incidents and basic problems.
-Supports and maintains servers, networks, messaging, mainframes, database environments and/or host infrastructures.
-May support customer owned, COTS or Unisys applications. Responds to service outages and other problems/issues.
-Provides support for simple troubleshooting requests.
-Performs incident recovery and as well as implements standard changes.
-Coordinates with vendors using SOPs.
-Is expected to escalate to resolver groups according to established escalation procedures.
-May work rotating shifts (24×7 shifts possible) and also be on-call as needed.
Qualifications:
-College degree or equivalent education and experience.
-Oral and written communication, logical and analytical skills.
-Ability to support multiple customers/technologies as part of a joint support effort.
Requirements:
- Perform development, unit testing and implementation related to Salesforce.com software and Force.com platform
- Assess business requirements and resolve potential Salesforce-enabled components (should be able to determine when customization and when configuration is required)
- Strong design and implementation skills using Apex classes, triggers, workflows, Salesforce Lightning (Aura), VisualForce pages, controllers, batch processes, and extensions
- Good knowledge of Salesforce query languages such as SOQL and SOSL
- Thorough knowledge of governor boundaries and as well as best practices
