About The Team:
- Uber Shuttle is safe, reliable and affordable for everyday commutes.
- With just a few taps and a short walk, Shuttle allows passengers to secure a seat on an air-conditioned bus on multiple routes and at pick-up stations.
- India is one of Shuttle’s three major global markets and the India Ops team works with global and regional teams to launch and scale products in India.

About The Role:
- This position is based in Gurgaon and reports directly to Shuttle Supply India Manager.
- Operations Directors are responsible for ensuring efficient operations for Shuttle product categories.
- This role requires strong operational acumen coupled with good interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional projects and interact with fleet partners.
- As part of this role, you will also be tasked with creating long-term processes to improve operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Operations Management- Define key performance metrics for fleets & drivers and as well as build processes to track and manage day-to-day performance. Moreover, Work with Fleet partners on improving their operational performance through training, SOPs & technology
- Build for Scale – Build robust processes to help seamlessly launch new B2B clients, support expansion in existing cities and as well as launch and scale in new cities
- Problem-Solving: Deep dive into our most challenging operations problems and develop solutions through first-principle thinking & robust analysis. Furthermore, Work with cross-functional teams to implement these solutions and drive improvement.
Moreover:
- Analyse data: Keep a tab on the metrics and delve into key reliability, timeliness and CSAT metrics to identify gaps, develop hypotheses and as well as use data to drive improvement.
- Be an owner: We’re building a new category and there’s a lot that we don’t know. You will need to be a self-starter that doesn’t shy away from facing challenges and takes initiative to ensure we keep moving the business forward.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in an industry with data-driven decision-making
- Prior experience in Operations or consulting is a plus
- You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on
- Strong aptitude to leverage data to make decisions
- Ability to clearly communicate and present information to stakeholders Proactive and creative solutions-driven approach, with a ‘get it done’ attitude
