Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Business Analytics Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to drive actionable insights and make data-driven decisions across the organization. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, optimize processes, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze and interpret large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns and insights that drive business performance and support decision making.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies, models and methodologies to optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize business requirements and ensure alignment between analytics projects and business objectives.
- Design and create dashboards, reports and visualizations using analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate insights and key performance indicators to stakeholders.
- Perform data cleansing, transformation and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of data.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and produce timely and accurate reports to support business initiatives such as market research, customer segmentation and competitive analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, finance and operations to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement based on data insights.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, new analytical tools and best practices. Proactively recommend and implement new techniques and methodologies to enhance the company’s analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity, data security, and data governance practices are maintained throughout the analytics process.
- Communicate complex analytics concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner so they can make informed business decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field.
- 0.6 to 1.6 years of business analytics experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Excellent data processing and analysis skills using tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Familiarity with data mining and machine learning concepts and their application in business analytics.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets and ensure accuracy and quality of data.
