Job Description:
- The Management Control team is responsible for everything from recording and monitoring transactions at each financial level to closing the books and reporting financial transactions by preparing financial statements and commenting on the company’s financial outlook.
- Entity accordingly, which typically includes the following: Systematic and procedural monthly closing of financial statements and reporting process, liaising with statutory auditors to complete statutory audits in a timely manner, acting as a facilitator for the audit team and coordinate with stakeholders to provide the information needed for the audit process.
- Ensure books of accounts are audited according to stipulated schedule and compliance. Quarterly limited review in accordance with SEBI (LODR) requirements.
- Coordinates with internal financial controls auditors to close internal audits in a timely manner to address financial constraints and observations identified by the audit team and to facilitate procedures at the financial level and avoid control gaps.
- Streamline the financial reporting process for subsidiaries to increase efficiency and complete group financial statements in a timely manner.
- Completion of the monthly MIS PL within the stipulated time facilitates bankers, due diligence teams, lenders and investors by sharing the required information on time and communicating the required details within the prescribed framework.
- Facilitate the timely completion of all planned acquisitions related to finance activities such as financial, legal and tax due diligence, valuation and coordination, etc.

Employees to be located in their place of posting / respective office base location. This is applicable to employees in Regional Teams whose roles require them to be close to the stakeholders (Restaurant partners, Delivery partners) and as well as collaborate with other teams within the cities and Corporate roles in Marketplace BU dealing with NAT accounts. This also includes roles in Regional HR & Learning & Development teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Developing & maintaining key KPIs across inventory, stock reconciliation, inbound & outbound performance.
- Lead successful continuous improvement projects and as well as adherence to SOPs to ensure effective operations.
- Hold weekly calls with Ops teams to maintain and monitor scorecard/store health index for performance of inventory across regions.
- Reviewing and as well as regular monitoring of wastage, liquidation, shortage of inventory and thereby implementing measures for controlling/reducing the same.
- Perform surprise stock counts, reconciliation of book stock vs physical stock and as well as validating appropriate stock adjustments.
- Coordinate, manage and as well as conclude on quarterly external stock audits.
- Coordinate, manage and conclude on tagging of fixed asset and physical verification.
- Working closely with supply chain team and operations team to ensure quality, sufficient & accurate inventory levels.
- Responsible to the management, monitoring & also improvement of the stock levels across the business.
- Ensuring quantity wise stock reconciliation.
- Responsible for driving daily stock audits across cities and as well as making necessary interventions.
- Manage pilferage and drive penalties in defaulting pods.
Desired Skills
- CA/ PG – Commerce, with 3-5 + years in Inventory management roles with excellent people management skills in FMCG environment.
- Detailed knowledge of inventory procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and as well as implementing continuous improvement projects and tracking of the success.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
