Group Information:
Seagate Hardware Engineering Group develops storage enclosures for Seagate and potential external customers. The Group is committed to product development, innovation and revenue growth through new technologies and products using the Harvest, Grow and Win strategy.
Role Information – You will:
- Understand the design details of the storage system.
- Work closely with the firmware development team to understand the product architecture and implementation.
- Handle support issues to understand product features.
- Develop features. /modules
- Complete the internship project according to plan.
About you:
• Will demonstrate passion and dedication to the software development life cycle and problem solving.
• A positive attitude is required.
Experiences include:
- RAID-based storage architecture
- Knowledge of storage media types, media communication
- Knowledge of protocols, typical throughput, throughput, latency, and failure modes
- Understanding I/O generation tools
- Manual and automatic Testing experience
- Understanding of industry software testing processes and practices.
