Job Description:

We support schools and colleagues in the countries of the subcontinent in the transfer of our globally recognized qualifications.

If you have customer service experience or can demonstrate your ability to provide excellent service to our customers.

We are looking for people who enjoy working as part of a team, can interact with different departments and have the initiative and confidence to work independently when required.

Responsibilities:

The individual will be expected to provide excellent service under pressure to meet the changing needs of our customers. The education sector is constantly evolving and our team must be adaptable and dynamic to quickly absorb new information.

You will be the first point of contact for our customers, answering queries by phone, email and live chat.

You will be the expert on hand to help them with any questions they may have about managing and delivering Pearson qualifications. This can range from learner registration to certification.

We’re looking for problem solvers who don’t get discouraged when things go wrong, and who are able to resolve complex and urgent issues after training.

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience or the ability to demonstrate the skills required to provide excellent customer service.
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and as well as Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience dealing with unhappy/dissatisfied customers
  • Adaptability to sudden changes in the educational system and flexibility to meet the needs of our customers and our company throughout the academic year
  • Problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Confidence in handling client relationships
  • Ability to design and deliver training
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize to keep pace in a fast-paced and as well as often pressured environment
  • Ability to work independently when needed, but with common sense to know when to seek guidance from colleagues
  • Strong team player and also strong customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Strong IT skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and as well as related packages
