About the Job:
- The Customer and Partner Experience (CxP) team is part of the Identity & Network Access (IDNA) development group within Microsoft’s booming Security product group.
- We work with customers and partners around the world to drive service adoption and shape the Microsoft Identity Platform.
- The Data & Insights team has an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join Microsoft’s most customer-focused development team.
- We are looking for a customer-focused individual with a growth mindset, compassion for customer experience, and an experimental approach to join our team.
- The Data & Insights team is a group of geographically dispersed Data PMs, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists who develop a deep understanding of the business and as well as customers, perform opportunity analysis, define product metrics, and as well as gain key insights to drive business decisions.
- As a Data Engineer on the team, you will be responsible for managing the data estate, architecting and developing the next generation data platform, and as well as performing deep data analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Builds a deep understanding of the Microsoft Security business, technology, and customers
- Implements scalable data models, data pipelines, data storage, management and as well as transformation solutions.
- Ensures data quality and compliance.
- Collaborates with teams at Microsoft and as well as within Identity to drive customer opportunities and revenue growth.
- Communicates key findings with stakeholders and as well as executives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, computer engineering, or related field
- minimum 2 years of industry experience in a deep technical role developing products in one or more of the following areas: Business Intelligence & Analytics, Cloud Services, Productivity Applications/Services, Business Applications/Services
- Experience with data pipelining and transformation technologies
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies and as well as data analytics tools
- Excellent data visualization skills to present insights that impact the business
- Knowledge of machine learning/predictive modeling is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication and as well as collaboration skills
- Strong track record of self-directed execution
