Job Description:
We are a small startup based in Gurgaon, India specializing in selling home decor products through e-commerce. We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting and Operations Manager to join our team and contribute to our growth. The ideal candidate should be familiar with basic accounting tasks and operational responsibilities in a small business.
Responsibilities:
Accounting:
- Maintain and update financial records using Google Sheets and Tally software.
- Process and reconcile transactions, including sales, expenses, and inventory.
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
- Efficiently handle banking and financial transactions.
- Monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns using CA and Founder.
Operations:
- Oversee and manage daily operational tasks related to order processing and fulfillment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and as well as logistics partners for timely deliveries.
- Handle customer inquiries and promptly resolve operational issues.
- Assist with inventory management and also replenishment.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team to ensure smooth operations.
- Suggest process improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Complete general administrative tasks as needed, including data entry, record keeping, and also managing office supplies.
Requirements: Executive
- Demonstrated experience with basic accounting tasks and as well as familiarity with Tally software.
- Furthermore, Proficiency using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel to manage financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and also ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good communication and as well as problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Previous e-commerce experience is a plus.
- Lastly, Knowledge of the e-commerce industry is a plus.
