Working with a number of high-profile customers globally, our growing business is excited to be building our team in Noida and are currently seeking a Software Engineer within Profile Development.
As part of the Partner Enablement team in Noida you will be joining an exciting team responsible for enabling and consequently supporting customers designing with Kigen technology.
As part of the team, you will be critical to our full set of solution providing UICC/eSIM/iSIM services including profile development, instead testing and applet development.
In addition, a key element of our role is supporting our customers and working closely with our data generation and customer onboarding teams to provide services.
What to do:
Profile Development
- Analyze customer requirements, select target UICC/eUICC card products, and estimate profile development schedule. Profile and unit test the
- target UICC/eUICC card product.
- Deliver profile to client and deliver archive.
- Provides profile maintenance (bug fixes, change requests).
Applet Development
- Analyzing customer requirements and predicting conditions for applet development.
- Write applet spec if needed.
- Unit test one or more target UICC/eUICC cards.
- Delivers the applet to the client and also archives the delivery package.
- Provides applet maintenance (bug fixes, change requests).
Technical Support
- Answers to technical questions from customers developing profiles or applets for SIM/USIM/eUICC cards.
- Help customers answer the technical questions of mobile operator tenders for UICC/eUICC.
- Assist customers in completing profile and/or applet certification for the UICC/eUICC card products (including trips to customer locations worldwide, if required).
You will need:
- Experience developing SIM/USIM/eSIM/eUICC/iSIM profiles.
- Good knowledge of 3GPP, ETSI, SIM Alliance, GSMA and as well as global platform specifications.
- SIM/USIM/eUICC domain knowledge and experience in smart card or embedded systems technology – moreover 2+ years of experience in the SIM card industry is ideal.
- Experience working with customers to resolve technical issues or other customer interactions.
- Lastly, Good understanding of the lifecycle phases (specification, development, testing, release, maintenance) of various software projects.
- Moreover, Understand the concepts of security and encryption.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (such as Python or JavaScript), C/C++, and then some JAVA IDEs will be helpful.
- Ability and enthusiasm for learning new skills.
- Attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure when needed.
