Job Description:
We are looking for developers to support the technical implementation and delivery of projects based on IBM Social Program Management Platform (SPM) throughout the system development lifecycle.
You will be responsible for the development/maintenance/support of applications based on IBM SPM.

Some of the main responsibilities would be –
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of configurations and extensions for SPM in a J2EE environment.
- Implementing and unit testing external interfaces to the system using SOAP / REST web services.
- Modeling of APIs using Rational Software Architect.
- Modeling relational databases (DB2 or Oracle) and developing SQLs to meet custom requirements.
- Creating/maintaining technical documentation.
- Writing Junit tests for unit testing and code coverage.
- Learning and creating DevOps pipelines for the cloud
- Assist with troubleshooting during testing and deployment to target environments.
- Ability to work with agile development teams.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Required technical and professional expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a reputable college/college. MS is a plus.
- Experience in several of the following areas is desirable:
- Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and some basic knowledge of design patterns
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (DB2 or Oracle) and SQL (ability to write simple queries with various clauses, joins, etc.)
- Knowledge of Java/J2EE technology
- You should have knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript
Requirements:
Experience in several of the following areas is desirable:
- 1.Knowledge of Java and the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE)
- 2.Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML) and business process models
- 3.Knowledge of enterprise relational database management systems such as Oracle or DB2.
- 4.Knowledge of Rational tools such as Rational Software Architect (RSA)
- 5.Knowledge of Extensible Markup Language (XML) and the eclipse integrated development environment (IDE)
- 6.Knowledge of JavaScript technologies such as ReactJS
- 7.Knowledge of DevOps technologies such as CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.
