Job Description:
Key Accountabilities:
- Design and develop BI dashboards and as well as reports based on business requirements
- Implement, maintain, and support BI data solutions in Microsoft and other BI platforms
- Work in an agile development team of developers, analysts and business stakeholders. Completing the backlog and sprints within the agreed upon timeframe
- Curate data from multiple data sources for efficient presentation in an enterprise environment
- Contribute to the architecture, design and implementation of a business intelligence solution
- Recommend improvements to streamline processes related to data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, usability and value
- Keep abreast of technology developments in areas relevant to current and future BI and reporting initiatives
- Document “As Built’ reports and all data transformations used in production
- Assume responsibility for end-to-end development – from data collection to modelling to presentation – for each dashboard and report to be developed
- Perform system testing of developed reports.
- Assist with regression testing of reports during upgrades.
Skills & Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence development and reporting in a medium to large enterprise with detailed knowledge of BI functions such as analytics, data modeling and data mining, reporting, report conversion and data cleansing.
- Experience with multidimensional (cubes) and as well astabular data models, dashboards, paginated reports, scoreboards, SharePoint Online, and agile development methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in analyzing and as well as designing data models to meet reporting requirements
- Advanced experience writing complex relational and as well as multidimensional database queries for slicing and dicing data models
- Strong knowledge and experience with the Power BI ecosystem (Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service, Power BI EmRbedded)

- Strong experience with Microsoft BI stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) and as well as other BI stack technologies
- Experience with Microsoft Azure data analytics tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse

- Ability to prototype and design the entire solution to data visualization based on business requirements

- Ability to troubleshoot reports and analysis for BI and provide solutions for problem resolution
- Experience designing and developing visually appealing and as well as informative dashboards and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) using Power BI, MS SSRS.
