Responsibilities:
- Work with functional supply chain teams across the organization (e.g., Logistics, Procurement) to understand data analytics requirements,
- Develop solutions in an agile approach which includes requirements gathering, planning, development, implementation, stakeholder management, and on-going support.
- Own all technical aspects of the solution development (e.g., data visualizations, data tables, scripts).
- Partner with stakeholders/vendors across GCD to understand operational processes and as well as business context.
- Build and maintain internal reporting pipelines and dashboards for specific GCD functional teams including troubleshooting, development, and access controls.
- Furthermore, Write advanced SQL queries, and system configurations, and manage and execute project plans.
- Apply data publishing best practices around data quality monitoring, security, and documentation.
- Lastly, Support best practices in developing documentation, training, and webinars to enable self-serve analytics for the supply chain.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience as an analyst/data engineer gathering requirements and designing data products (e.g., dashboards, tables, pipelines).
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree with experience in advanced SQL transforming datasets to meet business needs in supply chain domain.
- Experience developing dashboards or performing analysis in a client-facing role, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, build solutions using an iterative approach.
- Ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships and work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment with a track record of managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to self-start and self-direct operational initiatives and comfortable managing ambiguity.
- Knowledge of any scripting language (e.g., Python, R, etc).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to technical and nontechnical audiences.
