Job description:
Genesys is essential to the development of interactive processing systems. This team is responsible for designing and developing many of the features and microservices needed for the customer experience. The role of the multi-cloud developer is to: design, prototype, develop and maintain new and existing functionality.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a degree in ECE, CSE or Computer Engineering
- Should have 0 to 1+ years of experience in the software industry.
- Necessity be willing to learn quickly and explore new technologies.
- Must be interested in innovation, R&D and coding
- Has good communication and people skills
- Must be willing to behave as an individual contributor.
- Roles and Responsibilities
Product Requirements Analysis
- Design and develop new product features within the estimated development plan.
- Provides input data for the architecture of new modules and components.
- Provide effort estimates for requirements
- Define and manage builds.
- Implement and test the developed functionalities.
- Review design and code of peers
- Work with QA to define test plans and help them understand functionality.
- Reproduced and fixed the bug.
- Automate unit test scenarios for newly developed features using a continuous integration (CI) framework.
- Contribute to
- white box testing to be a source of innovative features/solutions to improve our core business.
Skills and tools
- Good analytical, debugging and communication skills.
- Exposure to C/C++ or Java or UI or Python or Javascript/NodeJs
- Essentially have good understanding of OOPS and exposure to Object Oriented Design (OOD) and analysis
- Good understanding of networking concepts and experience socket programming practice.
- Knowledge of VoIP technologies such as SIP/RTP/RTCP would be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in multi-threaded programming/concepts and exposure to debugging tools/techniques for C++ or Java profiling)
- Exposure to web applications will add strength.
- Familiarity with formal design processes will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and microservices architectures such as Azure and AWS.
