JOB DESCRIPTION
Emerson || Work Tasks:
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient Device Descriptor Code (DD) while adhering to coding standards and technical design
- Understanding the design and code of the developed device descriptor
- Reverse engineering, debugging, debugging and upgrading existing DDs.
- Develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes and perform feasibility analysis for new device descriptor concepts/technologies.
- Assume additional duties and responsibilities as needed and able to work with minimal support
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in instrumentation or electronics.
- 0 – 3 years of experience developing commercial software products
- Knowledge of JavaScripts and HTML 5
- Strong in programming languages such as C/Embedded C
- Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and enthusiastically and work as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex team structure, including distributed (i.e. global) teams.
Preferences
- Familiarity with industry protocols such as HART and Fieldbus Foundation.
