In our Data Driven Services department, we develop and support high-quality microservices for digital private banking solutions, such as our messaging product InfoServices and the digital customer advisory service Finanzcheck.
We are part of the Customer Data Intelligence trunk in TDI PB Germany, which covers the complete value chain of customer data processing including mobilization, integration, enrichment and storage.
On our platforms, we offer analytical capabilities and value-added services.
Exciting tasks await us as part of the Unity project (integration of the acquired Postbank) and around the alignment with the bank’s cloud strategy (Google partnership).

As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for the design and as well as development of complete technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain high-value data-driven microservices
- Follow the DevOps model to develop stable, ideally zero-ops applications, and as well as be responsible for stable production
- Find new ways to work more efficiently and as well as support the adoption of productivity enhancements, leaner processes, efficient tools, and general automation
- Help the team reach its full potential and act as a thought leader for less experienced team members
- Continuously improve the architecture by challenging existing implementations and as well as introducing new approaches and technologies
- Be a pioneer in introducing new technological approaches (e.g., virtualization, containers, cloud, microservices, serverless) and as well as motivate colleagues to follow you in doing so.
Skills and Experience
- Successfully completed degree in computer science, mathematics or related field
- At least 5 years of hands-on programming experience with Java. Profound knowledge of frameworks such as Spring Boot
- Profound knowledge of design patterns and principles
- Deep understanding of data models and SQL tools
- Initial experience with cloud, event processing, and Big Data technologies such as Kafka, BigQuery, Apache Beam, etc. or willingness to learn about them
- Complete familiarity with DevOps tools and culture
- Work in agile environments using methodologies such as SCRUM, Kanban or similar
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Experience working in distributed multicultural teams
