Deloitte Analyst, ITS Canada
Are you a fast learner and willing to work with new technologies? ITS Canada has a special opportunity for you to be an integral part of the Information Technology Services Group. The primary focus of this team is to develop and maintain technology solutions that enable the delivery of functions, marketplace services, and management information systems.
You will have the following responsibilities
As an Analyst, you will design, develop and maintain solutions based on various technologies such as Microsoft, ServiceNow, ERP, SAP HANA, Big Data and Analytics. You will support a team that delivers high quality solutions to customers using a streamlined system development methodology and IT infrastructure systems. You will be required to learn various development, testing and systems management tools, methodologies and processes and will be assigned to one of the following roles:
- Role: Development Analyst
As a Development Analyst, you will be responsible for the design and development of software applications for the company ITS Canada. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing, building, unit testing and documenting applications using the Microsoft platform and other technologies including but not limited to C#, ASP.NET, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, ServiceNow, Siebel, PeopleSoft, SAP HANA, Hadoop, Data Stage, RPA and Business Intelligence. This list of technologies is constantly evolving and expanding
- Collaborate with Senior Development Analysts, Architects, Delivery Managers, and Business Analysts to clearly define and understand business requirements
- Recommend technology solutions/options as required for projects to meet business objectives.
- Actively participate in Communities of Practice (CoP) and participate in sharing leading practices and standards
Deloitte
- Role: Business Solution Analyst – BA /QA
As a (BSA), you will understand, elicit, collect and document requirements for both functional and non-functional aspects of a solution by working with various customers and stakeholders. You will execute the required test cases related to one or more solutions. Your main tasks will include:
Creating requirements from scratch or extending existing requirements by documenting epics and user stories.
You will be the bridge between the customer and the development team
Creating new test packages (test design, execution plan, and data preparation)
Testing low to medium complexity system applications and analyzing all results
Reporting product defects or non-compliance with business/functional requirements
Support conformance and application of test process management tools and guidelines
Actively participate in communities of practice (CoP)
- Role: Systems Analyst
- As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for application maintenance, IT infrastructure support, IT security and end user support for ITS Canada. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Deploying, maintaining, supporting applications and IT infrastructure using the Microsoft platform and other technologies including but not limited to SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, ERP, SCOM, SCCM, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Virtualization – HyperV/VMWare, Networking, Storage, Active Directory, Skype, Exchange, ArcSight, SourceFire, etc. This list of technologies is constantly expanding and growing.
- Collaborate with senior systems analysts, development analysts, architects, delivery managers, and infrastructure managers to support IT requirements
- Recommend and implement infrastructure solutions/options as needed to support business objectives.
- Actively participate in Communities of Practice (CoP) and participate in the sharing of leading practices and standards

ITS Canada is the Canadian CIO’s division IT that manages an end-to-end portfolio of Canadian business applications and technology infrastructure that support common business processes across Deloitte Canada member companies.

The Team
Application development and solution delivery: Starting from architecture and user experience to design, development, transformation, re-platforming or custom development of systems in complex business scenarios. We manage a portfolio of enterprise-scale applications and solutions used by practitioners in Canada.
Offerings include custom development, application package development, application architecture, and testing consulting services. Technologies include Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Cloud Development, Mobile, .Net, SharePoint, SAP HANA, Manual, Automated and Performance testing.
Infrastructure Technologies: support, manage and implement complex IT infrastructure and IT security solutions that unlock the value of enterprise systems. These solutions include Microsoft and other technologies such as SCOM, SCCM, SolarWinds, Azure, AWS, ArcSight, AD, Exchange, Skype, virtualization, etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/ M.C.A. (60% or 6.5 GPA and above with no current backlog)
- Excellent analytical skills and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Ability to plan own career and build networks within the organization
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
- to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and raise concerns/issues as appropriate
- Proposing practical solutions and working with the customer to implement solutions
- Coordinate with client to build/improve relationship, solicit feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
- Seeking information/ideas/relationships with the customer to evaluate future opportunities
- Define project standards, know methodologies and understand process improvement initiatives
- Interact with functional SMEs
