Summary of the position
About the role
At Deloitte as a copywriter, you will be required to write clear and concise copy for advertisements, publications, and websites. Your words will inform and engage target audiences. Our ideal candidate is a team player, skilled and resourceful writer with an eye for detail who can quickly grasp project requirements and provide valuable insight.
Responsibilities
- Writing clear, engaging copy with distinct language
- Interpreting copy to understand project requirements (e.g., email campaigns and landing pages)
- Reviewing existing copy and rewording it into SEO-friendly copy
- Reviewing existing copy and performing tasks such as consolidating content from multiple pages into 1-2 pages
- Rewriting headings where necessary.
- Adding tags in the CRM platform.
- Applying SEO principles to optimize text search.
Experience / Training
- 0-2 years of proven experience as a copywriter or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Retail, travel and hospitality copywriting experience is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of different requests, priorities and tasks
- A strong, creative problem solver with self-motivation
- Ability to work in a team environment with energy and enthusiasm and a high tolerance for change.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
