Job Description:
Key Accountabilities:
- Strong interest in a career that combines technology, finance/accounting and consulting.
- Detail orientation, good listening skills, good verbaland written communication skills, and as well as the ability to work well with others.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, management information systems or related field (or overseas equivalent).
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a business analyst/consultant or accounting/finance professional in the investment management industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including knowledge of lookups, pivot tables and as well as array operations) and understanding of databases/ BI tools.
- Experience building models (in Excel or with other tools) and/or performing other complex quantitative tasks.
- Ability to travel an average of 10% depending on the work and clients you serve.
Requirements:
- Experience in helping companies improve processes using technology
- Experience and strong knowledge of database systems (e.g. SQL/Oracle) and financial/accounting systems
- Understanding of the alternative investment industry
- Experience with fund fee calculations and legal documents (e.g., LPAs) and an understanding of common fund structures.
