The Marketing and Communications team is responsible for connecting the world to lifelong, transformative learning.
They also work to shape the public conversation about the future of education and work.
The team is divided into four focus areas: Consumer Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Brand & Creative, and Communications.
As Paid Marketing Manager, India (& APAC) Consumer, you will develop strategies and
execute go-to-market activities to accelerate learner growth and adoption of Courseras consumer products in the India (& APAC) market.
You will work with the Consumer Marketing team in the US to share insights on the design and execution of paid campaigns for the Indian and
APAC markets across existing paid marketing channels and explore new paid marketing opportunities specific to the Indian market.
You will also be responsible for leading strategic projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams that have the potential to accelerate growth many times over.
India is Coursera’s second largest market for learners after the US, and this role has the potential to further accelerate Coursera’s growth and impact in this region.
Responsibilities:
- Drive paid consumer marketing campaigns in India and APAC. Specifically, develop go-to-market plans for degrees, specializations, and professional certifications
- Develop briefs for the India and APAC markets, ensuring that the strategy and work tie into the globally-focused strategy and creative while addressing local social, cultural and product nuances
- Lead asset creation, targeting and campaign analysis for localized paid media campaigns that accelerate growth in the Indian and APAC markets
- Research and implement new paid marketing channels specific to the Indian and APAC markets that reflect the media consumption and habits of target audiences in APAC
- Drive strategic projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams that have the potential to accelerate growth many times over
Essential Qualifications:
- 3+ years of paid consumer marketing experience
- Experience translating marketing campaign results into business results in a ROI -positive manner
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and as well as meet deadlines
- Experience planning and also executing marketing campaigns with cross-functional teams
- Experience writing marketing briefs and developing integrated go-to-market strategies
Preferred Qualifications: Marketing Manager
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; confident in using data to make decisions and transform marketing campaign results into actionable insights
- Understanding of landing page optimization and how other B2C online marketing channels work with paid channels
- Initiative to drive projects, collaborate across teams, and also proactively ask questions to obtain information and resources
- Proven experience in achieving growth through one or more key paid marketing channels
- Passion for online education and understanding of the higher education landscape, as well as business knowledge of the Indian marketplace
- Strong written communication skills and as well as exceptional attention to detail.
