Job Description
The Concentrix position of Consultant, Sales serves to contact customers through inbound calls, outbound calls or via the internet to sell products and services.
Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
- Apply unscripted probing techniques to determine customer needs and provide the most appropriate product or service to meet those needs
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of products, pricing, promotions and procedures
- Ensure that service provided to our customers meets contracted sales targets and other key performance indicators (‘KPIs’)
- Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while taking the opportunity to build rapport with the customer
- Clarify customer requirements; check for understanding and use tools and resources to provide an appropriate solution to the customer
- Complete and accurate work including appropriate endorsements on accounts as required
- Participate in activities to improve customer satisfaction and sales performance
- Respond to billing questions by discussing components of customer accounts
Applicant Profile
- High school diploma and six months of sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales techniques and products preferred
- Courteous and strong customer service orientation
- Strong communication and negotiation skills required
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Multitasking skills, including the ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change
- Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge

- Reliable and with great attention to detail
- Patience in all customer contact situations, including maintaining a pleasant and professional tone and demeanor
- Ability to rotate shifts as needed

Has basic knowledge required by the program to perform routine tasks within simple processes, but does not have program/product specific knowledge. Works under close supervision and with clearly defined procedures. Begins to become familiar with customer terminology, operating standards and procedures.
