Job Description –
Application Development Programmer Analyst is a mid-level position with responsibility for participating in the creation and implementation of new or modified application systems and programs in collaboration with the technical team.
The overall goal of this role is to contribute to application systems analysis and programming activities.
Your responsibilities –
- Use your knowledge of application development procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and determine necessary system improvements equally important.
- Identify and analyze problems, make recommendations and implement solutions too.
- In addition solving complex problems using knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- First we analyze and value information to suggest solutions and improvements.
- Test and debug, furthermore use scripting tools, write basic code for design specifications.
- Evaluate the applicability of similar experience and evaluate options in situations not covered by the procedure.
- Gain practical knowledge of information systems, procedures, Citi standards, client/server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC applications.
Qualifications –
- 1-3 years of relevant experience first.
- Experience in programming/debugging used in business applications too.
- Working knowledge of industry practices and standards equally important.
- In addition comprehensive knowledge of specific business areas for application development.
- Working knowledge of programming languages too.
- Clear and concise writing and verbal communication equally important.
