Technical Support Engineer Job description:
At Catchpoint we are looking for web savvy, energetic and enthusiastic people to help our clients and prospective clients with their performance monitoring and optimization needs. This position is critical to Catchpoint’s long-term relationship with its customers, and the efforts of these individuals will impact the company’s success. This person must have the drive and drive to be entrepreneurial and work quickly.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript is a must
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Understand network hardware (servers, load balancers, routers, etc.)
- Experience with Selenium and web monitoring tools
- Technical knowledge with an emphasis on the web development industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree / Engineering – Web and Communication
- 0-4 years of experience in a customer service environment – Web, Networking, Service Desk
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexible and rotational shifts
- New students can apply with these technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the availability and performance of client web applications.
- Identify, diagnose and escalate failures or performance problems to customers.
- Maintain Catchpoint’s SLA with customers.
- Provide phone, email, online chat and future technical support to customers
- Research, analyze and resolve customer issues and queries.
- Actively contribute to product knowledge base and product related documentation and blogs
- Collaborate with engineering to identify product defects, develop solutions, and test.
- Work closely with product management to define customer needs and requirements and approve future feature designs.
