Job Description:
- This position is for a developer within the Consumer Finance program. The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for technical deliveries for medium to large projects.
- This is a hands-on technical role with direct responsibility for deliveries. The role requires in-depth technical knowledge.
- The candidate must have extensive hands-on experience with .Net technology.
- The person will be part of a team of 6+ people and will focus on technical deliveries and maintaining the existing code base.
Responsibilities:
- Design and code in MS.Net technologies. Strong knowledge of ASP.Net, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, web development, WPF, SSIS.
- Maintain existing code base to ensure existing functionality continues to work and quality is maintained or improved where possible.
- Ability to learn and adapt without supervision, ability to solve problems creatively.
- Contribute to the team’s DevOps and cloud migration initiatives by contributing to the delivery pipeline right through to production.
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of the full SDLC lifecycle including waterfall, agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience in C#, ASP.Net, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, WCF
- Moreover, Experience with SQL Server databases, SSIS
- Experience with Jira, GIT
- Lastly, Experience with Teradata, WPF, SSRS would be good.
Skills:
Flexible and adaptable work style to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Previous experience in finance, treasury, and as well as risk.
