Apple’s IS &T team is looking for outstanding individuals who want to work with similarly skilled engineers to develop software quickly and efficiently, with increasing quality. To be successful, you must be a strong programmer who thoroughly tests applications and services and helps improve team velocity through automation.

Key Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years combined work experience in software development/quality engineering
- Experience developing test strategies, scenarios and cases for UI (web and iOS applications), web services, DB workflows, etc
- Experiences with functional, system, integration, and exploratory testing
- Hands on experience with automation testing, performance testing, software quality testing, and CI/CD integrations
- working with Java, Python, or other OO languages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent contexts
- Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Passion for an outstanding quality product
Description
- Create QE test plans, strategies, and cases for a specific application/feature
- Collaborate with development, BPR and other project teams to execute test plans and deliver high quality products
- Automation, performance and code quality testing using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber-JVM, REST API, Appium, Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter, Jenkins, Sonarqube, etc.
- Self-motivated, dedicated, able to grasp issues quickly and make sound, critical judgments in ambiguous situations and overcome limitations
- Provide timely and accurate briefings to project managers on test status and progress during all phases of testing and summarise findings at project closeout
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in the agile methodology to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or related field.

Apple Product Lines
Apple’s offers numerous products and services. Some of the major offerings today include:
Mac computers. The Macintosh, or Mac, is Apple’s line of personal computers. The main product types are the iMac all-in-one desktop, the Mac mini standard desktop, the Mac Studio media desktop, the Mac Pro professional production workstation desktop, the MacBook Air consumer laptop, and the MacBook Pro professional laptop.
All Mac computers use the macOS operating system. Since 2020, they have used Apple-developed “M” series CPUs based on the ARM architecture. These French fries have been praised for their excellent performance and energy efficiency.
AMac computers are popular with students and creative professionals for their upscale style and ease of use. Programmers can also use them because the underlying operating system is based on Unix and is POSIX compatible.
Because of their lack of centralized management and high cost, Mac computers have historically been rather unpopular in the workplace. However, with the introduction of Zero Trust, BYOD and third-party tools such as Jamf, they are gradually becoming more acceptable to IT administrators.
iPhone and iPad.
The iPhone is Apple’s smartphone line, and the iPad is its tablet. The iPhone was the first smartphone to be adopted by the mass market due to its ease of use, built-in app store, and capacitive multi-touch touchscreen.
iPhone uses the mobile “A” series CPU, and the newer iPads use the same “M” series CPUs as Mac computers. Their operating systems iOS and iPadOS are based on the same Unix kernel as macOS, but have a touch-oriented interface.
Consumer products. Apple has several smaller product lines that are integrated throughout the ecosystem. The Apple Watch is a smartwatch and fitness tracker. Apple TV is a television set-top box and streaming media device. The HomePod is a smart speaker and home assistant.
Services. Apple also offers several services that work seamlessly with its products. Apple iCloud is a personal file storage and syncing service. Apple Pay is a money payment system and credit card provider. Apple TV + is a media streaming service with movies and TV programs.
Apple also offers other media through the iTunes Store, Apple Music, Apple Books, and other services. IMessage is a device-specific instant messaging service from Apple that extends SMS for iPhones.
