What will your job be like?
Amdocs
- You will contribute to and support the automation of multiple parts of infrastructure and delivery systems. You will strive to improve and shorten processes to enable engineering and operations teams to work smarter and faster
- Collaborate with related product/account development teams to drive automation of configuration management, build, release, deployment and monitoring processes, including briefing the team on the tools being developed
- with IT and development to ensure code integration and continuity and demonstrate a holistic view of the working environment
- Support the engineering and operations teams in meeting infrastructure requirements
- Provide professional support for developed automations, incident response to proactively prevent system outages and ensure availability of environments to meet SLAs
- Participate in the integration between the product/account infrastructure system and other vendors’ infrastructure systems
- Stay abreast of industry best practices in this area contribute and ideas for improvements to DevOps practices
- Contribute to innovation through automation to enable standard deployable infrastructure units across multiple environments to production
- Adopt and implement new technologies in the customer/product lifecycle
All you need is…
- Experience in CI/CD and MS: configuration management and/or automation tools and/or continuous integration tools (Jenkins, BitBucket, Nexus) and/or knowledge of continuous deployment on most popular cloud computing platforms (OpenShift, AWS, Azure and/or GCP), familiarity with various third party tools (Postgres, Cassandra, Helm, Groovy, Nagios, Liquidbase, Couchbase)
- 1-2 years of experience with Infrastructure-as-code and Configuration-as-code, including one or more tools – Cloud Formation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, Terragrunt, and Terraform
- Script development experience of 2-3 years + IT experience in one of the common languages (Python, Groovy, Bash)
- Hands-on experience in building, releasing, deploying and monitoring cloud-based scalable distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of RedHat or other Linux distributions and familiarity with service-oriented systems
- Working in an agile development environment 1 -2 years hands-on experience troubleshooting key lifecycle management tools (such as BitBucket, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, OCP, Sonar, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- Working knowledge of building cluster/hybrid production environments, including TLS, load balancing, and knowledge of implementing high availability setups
