- Amazon is looking for a talented, customer-focused Business and Performance Analyst Intern in Mumbai, India to help shape the future of our data centers.
- This role offers a unique opportunity to provide cross-functional support to internal and external stakeholders to improve data center performance,
- including report optimization, KPI metrics, and dashboarding.
- The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a proven track record of project management, juggling multiple projects with competing deadlines, and using data to identify and prioritize opportunities.
- A successful candidate will be analytical, meticulous, self-motivated, detail oriented, customer focused, and have good communication skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization internally and externally.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Student in their penultimate year of study pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Willingness to complete a 6-month full-time internship between October 2023 and March 2024 / TBD
- Anticipated graduation date of December 2023 or later
- Applicants must be able to work legally in India
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Packages: word, excel, power point
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel pivots, formulas, macros, etc.
- Good written and as well as verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated to work proactively on assignments
- Data oriented and enjoys working with data analysts
- Great team player
- Ability to support clients internally and externally
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience developing requirements and formulating operational performance metrics for reporting purposes
- Proficiency in Excel and other reporting tools such as Tableau, SQL, Power BI, Zoho Analytics, etc. is a plus
- Good analytical skills – detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Ensure continuous improvement in learning methods
- Planning and organizational skills
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, correlations and insights to present written recommendations to management in a clear and compelling manner
- Analyze and solve business and operational problems at the root to understand the broader context.
