Accenture Associate Software Engineer (ASE)

What would you do?
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will primarily be involved in the following tasks:
- Designing, building, testing, assembling, supporting and configuring applications based on business requirements
- You understand the business drivers that impact performance and deliver software that meets those expectations.
- You incorporate technology trends into solutions and participate in the development of automation solutions, new features and technologies, and their integration into existing solutions, new features and technologies, and their integration into existing solutions
- Responsible for troubleshooting issues and assisting customers through voice interaction/email/chat/remote support

- Support infrastructure operations and/or manage delivery for IT production systems and services
- Flexibility to relocate to any part of India for project deployment and work 24×7 shifts depending on business requirements.
Those listed below will also be preferred:
- Basic understanding of ABAP development on HANA, CDS, AMDP, performance analysis
- Good working knowledge of J2EE and full stack development
- Knowledge and development experience with NET (ASP.NET/ ASP.NET MVC)
Test automation technology
- Apply business and functional knowledge, including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to achieve overall team testing objectives
- Responsible for designing test scenarios for usability testing
- Preparation of all reports on software testing performed
- Analyzing results and then communicating observations to the development team.
Eligibility Criteria:
- All B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech, MCA and M.Sc. (CSE only, IT ) majors/branches from the classes of 2022 and 2023 who are pursuing full-time education (part-time and distance learning programs will not be considered)
o Note: MBA/PGDBM candidates are not eligible to apply for this position
- You should have completed your relevant degree (being considered for this position) within the prescribed duration of the degree. In other words, there should be no gaps in your degree progression.
o Example: you must complete your B.Tech in 4 years or your M.Tech/MSc in 2 years.
- Only your highest educational qualification will be considered
- Applicant should not have participated in an Accenture assessment/interview process in the last three months.
- Applicant should not have more than 11 months of work experience
- must either be a citizen of India or have an appropriate work permit.
- Please note that nationals of Bhutan and Nepal can work in India without having to apply for a work visa. All other foreign nationals require a work visa or an Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card to work in India
- You are willing to work in or relocate to any Accenture office in India
Evaluation Process:
- If you are eligible, you will receive an email invitation to take an online assessment
- The assessment will be conducted in two phases and must be completed within the time allotted
Mock Assessment
- You will be given a 20-minute mock/practical assessment
- The mock assessment is mandatory and ensures that you have the right hardware, software and internet connection
- This assessment will help you gain experience with the assessments
Assessment #1: Cognitive and Technical Assessment
- Yo will have 90 minutes to complete this assessment
The cognitive and technical assessment includes 50 questions on
- English language skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Abstract thinking
The technical assessment includes 40 questions on:
- Common Application and MS office
- Pseudocode
- Fundamentals of networking, security and cloud
You will be notified of the result of the cognitive and technical test within 5-10 minutes of completion. We recommend that you remain seated and wait for the result. The coding test will begin immediately after you are notified of the result
You must achieve the minimum score for each section and sub-section to be considered for further rounds.
It is mandatory for applicants to take the coding exam after passing the cognitive and technical exams.
For applicants who do not pass the cognitive and technical assessment or do not participate in our assessments, the process for their application ends at this point.
Assessment #2: Coding Assessment
The duration of this assessment is 45 minutes
You will be asked 2 questions, which you must answer as following languages
- C
- C++
- Dot net
- Java
- Python
Evaluation #3: Communication evaluation
The duration of this test is approximately 30 minutes
You will receive a separate email with the schedule and login information for taking this test
In the communication test, you will be assessed on the following parameters
- Mastery of sentences
- Vocabulary
- Fluency
- Pronunciation
